I had a dream that me, Neil (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) trapezzoid), Julie (faerykore) and other people were at a Zac Effron concert, because he had come out with a CD and we figured it would be funny to go to the concert.
Neil was all "I dont know if I can sit through all this. Should we leave?"
Since we were in the front row (of course) I was able to grab the set-list off the stage. I looked at it and turned to Neil.
"Neil, Zac has a song called Smut Butt!"
"...We're staying."
Hahaha
I released my mice babies today. It was a bittersweet goodbye! I will miss them. But I think they will be happier outside.
Someone had the good idea of leaving their house for them outside so they can go back to it, so thats what I did.
So even if they can't make it in the great outdoors, they can always come back to their little coconut house for a safe nap. They still haven't come out of it even outside haha.
I let them go near my house because we are always putting out nuts/seeds for the birds and squirrels.
Spring is bloomin' all around! Animals are popping up everywhere to grab a snack from us.
In the side yard alone, we got:
A woodchuck
3 bunnies (teeny teeny baby, two adults)
TONS of birds
A mole!!
Tons of squirrels
And they visit every day. SO CUTE. I hope my micies find the seedpile.

Quicky drawing from me:
Has a bit of an Orisinal feel.
I still have the mice. They hide in a coconut all day and sneak food and try to escape at night.
When should I release them back into the woods?
They SEEM old enough, but they're kind of idiots. When I found the first one, I figured releasing him back outside would be ok 'cause he seemed old enough. I put him in the shed and left him there for a few hours (theres no door to the shed so I figured he'd be on his way).
Went back, he was still there, just wandering around the shed in plain sight.
He found my foot and tried to squeeze in between my toes (probably trying to get warm) so I took him back inside.
Then later on found the other mousie and figured they had just left the nest for the first time all together and were too stupid to find shelter so they just hung out in the driveway.
I guess I'll take care of them until they're a bit older/smart enough to take care of themselves, but I don't know when that will be.

I now have 2 baby mice and we found a third but it was dead (mysteriously flattened in the driveway)
We found the live baby mouse NUDGING THE DEAD ONE, SQUEAKING AND CRYING.
Broke. Everyones. Hearts.
:(
The 2 live ones are now huddled up together, nibbling bread in an aquarium. We're gonna take them in to a nature center tomorrow after scouring the yard for the rest of them.
Edit: We think the nest is probably in the shed next to the driveway, BUT THERE IS ALSO AN ACTIVE NEST OF BEES IN THERE. asuhdosiuhfh

Halp.
Baby mousie in my yard wont go back to where he came from! He's wandering around the driveway. Something might be wrong with him. He's eating milk-bread right now. He could just be really young. I'm not sure.
I don't want to bring him inside because whenever that happens, the little things go into shock but I can't leave him outside 'cause he's in the driveway and I'm scared of picking him up and freaking him out.
Advice? He's so teeny tiny I just love him to bits
HIS NAME IS TOFU because we wanna pick him up with chopsticks and dunk him in soy sauce he is so teeny weenie
UHG if I just leave him outside it's going to bother me SO MUCH. I can't in good conscience leave a baby to the elements :(
Edit: We've put a wire frame cage over him outside.
He bops around, scratches his head, grooms his face, he seems perfectly fine apart from being a baby and kind of stupid.
So yeah, he's still outside but he's got a cage over him now with some milk and water and bread and bedding. He's already escaped this setup once, but I tried to make it as inescapable as possible. I'm gonna check on him all day today and come to a decision for night time. I dunno if he'd be ok outside at night :(
I tried looking for his nest but the little guy can get around pretty quickly (he hops like a frog IT IS SO CUTE) so he could have traveled a long ways from his nest.
I tried putting him in an aquarium but he spent 15 minutes just pawing at the sides of it so I deemed it too stressful. :( Poor little guy. |

My little brother rented Okami for the Wii. I only play video games once (Monkey Island 3 being the exception) but it's got me hankering for an Okami movie like crazy.
Or a psychonauts movie or something.
Okami is/was a successful game, wasn't it? I know it had a rocky beginning but I think the fandom has picked up allot. Or is that just all the wolfaboos or something (god I love the word wolfaboo)
There HAS to be a sequel, right? ;__; Is there some sort of petition

I think my dissatisfaction with my anatomy finally outweighs my fear of naked strangers.
I think I'm going to take a life drawing class. I dunno, guys.

This past week has been so awesome! I think I'll have to break it up into a few posts 'cause theres so much documentation of the awesomeness.

So yeah, recap: We went to a rock show, baked a rude cake, bought a Zac Effron, made a scary movie, ate Orland-Os, watched lots of Flight of the Concords and visited the beach!
Our friend Chad from Texas arrived so it became even more awesome.

And then Julie had some of her friends over so we did like... crazy light photos and roasted marshmallows.

I'd love to get my brothers band on the show, they'd be perfect!

Neil and Zac Effron were celebrating a Jamaican Valentine's Day together. Neil had cooked a glistening dinner and they ate in a field by candlelight.
"My darling," Zac Effron said, stroking Neil's buttock, "I have something for you." He gave a box to Neil. "It is but a naked token of my greasy love."
Neil opened the box. Inside was a holy Jackie Chan action figure! He gazed at it obesely. Then he gazed at Zac Effron obesely. "It's glittery," Neil said. "Come here and let me slap you."
Just then, a gravel textured crone sprang out of hiding and cackled like an old lady who takes care of hundreds of cats but they eventually eat her.. "Your happiness will not last!" she said in a plump voice and dropped a piece of paper onto the dinner table.
Zac Effron read it. "It's a page from a diary. It says...it says that you're my brother."
They stared at each other rapidly as the crone cackled some more. Neil's man thigh began to tremble. Then Zac Effron shrugged, pulled out a chalice, and hit the crone on her gorilla knuckles. She fell over dead.
"Problem solved!" Neil said and kissed Zac Effron tenderly. "This is a hammish Valentine's Day!"
They romantically burned the diary page in the candle and never told another soul.
And then they slipped each other all night long.

Pixar's "Newt" sounds ADORABLE. I am excited for "Up" too because old people NEVER get to be the heroes!
But pretty much everything in that lineup is 3D :| Yay Disney you really suck. I also get the feeling that The Princess and the Frog is just going to be embarrassing.
Whenever I think about that movie I just picture Randy Newman playing with barbie dolls in a swamp. And I think thats what the movie will be.
You know, does anyone actually know of ANY interesting 2D movies coming out? From any country?
Or is 2D all anime's turf now?
I have been more active on Tegaki-E lately! So catch me there. Not tonight though, I'm going to bed now. :P |
